Stripe Error: “This Connect account cannot currently make live charges”.

 Stripe throws an error in checkout “This Connect account cannot currently make live charges. The `requirements.disabled_reason` property on the account will provide information about why this account is currently disabled. Solution

This error that you see is coming from the payment gateway. In this case, it is Stripe. This error usually means that your Stripe merchant account is not fully activated. Stripe may require some additional information from you. 


To resolve this, log in to your Stripe dashboard. Check to see if there is an Activate Account link on the top left. Follow that link to complete the setup and the error should disappear.


If there is no activation link, please contact Stripe. They will help you with the error and activate your account quickly.
