Summary
If the default invoice email notification is generated, then the notification status will be ‘Send Invoice email’ whereas if you send an email by creating an invoice custom email or by editing the default invoice email then, the notification status will be ‘Invoice Custom email’.
Solution
Send Invoice email:
There are two scenarios in which you would find this notification status:
1. If the Invoice receipt is enabled from Settings > Configure Chargebee > Email Notifications > Invoice receipt, then a default email notification will be sent when the invoice is generated.
2. If the Invoice email is resent from Send Email button from the Invoice details page without editing.
Send Invoice email status will only appear if you send an email without clicking on Edit on this page.
Invoice Custom email:
There are two scenarios in which you would find this notification status:
1. If you are sending a Custom email created from the Invoice Index Page. Refer to this link for more information.
2. If you are forwarding the Invoice Receipt by editing the content that was already sent.
You need to navigate from Invoices & Credit Notes > Invoices > Send Email
Invoice Custom email status will only appear if you edit and then send an email.
